I wasn’t there very long, I was born there but like my immediate family ended up moving like 3 months after my birth because of a divorce between my grandma and her ex husband.

So like

I claim I’m from SC still. But I did go up there a lot

For holidays

Myrtle beach/murrells area

It’s like weird. I’m technically in Myrtle but I’m not in the city I’m pretty far from it

Is it bad that I only know Myrtle Beach as the place my Texas family goes for vacation?

No it’s mainly tourist place I feel like 😭

Especially murrells Inlet. Everybody goes there for vacation cuz it’s right next to the beach

So it gets crazy busy here during the summer

I’ve never been tbh

It’s like 20-30 minutes away depending on where you sre

It’s a nice place

I’ve been to Charleston but that’s it

Had the best meal of my life there tho

And one of the worse

Worst

I gotta hear about these

The best was the Charleston Grill

It’s closed for now I believe but like

It’s this super fancy place in a hotel where the waiter was so attentive and they were so invested in our comfort that he overheard us debating between options and curated a tasting menu for us

And it was a 10/10

The worst was Poogan’s Shithouse

Sorry, I mean Smokehouse

You know how there isn’t really such a thing as bad barbecue?

That’s a lie because this place exists.

I’m a history person so I loved it

To me they were fun

History just didn’t make me feel the same
