Yessss that’s amazing, I finished work and made some bbq chicken and mac n cheese last night then played some video games with friends before shower/bed

ty for asking :) I like pretty basic things like watching movies, reading, video games, taking the dog to parks, trying to paint. I like concerts and going to basketball games sometimes, but I'm a big homebody tbh

Oh hell yeah same here, painting and basketball are where I differ I prefer hockey and I like to write! But I also love concerts and video games and reading

I'm not familiar with that show, cool they are showing it in theaters! it looks pretty wacky and like something I might like

and no worries on any slower replies, I know we're all busy! esp your work stuff I get it. that's so great you get to WFH for a while. I wfh parttime and we're fighting to keep it like I might have to go back 4x a week and I'm hating the prospect. I'm too chronically online to be at the office I tell you lol

yeahhh it's pretty transparently corrupt what's happening all over. here our governor has real estate and business interests around or buildings but noooo it's really for teamwork and collaboration 🙃

Oh that’s wild cause I’m kinda the opposite I love a good scary game but unless it’s psychological the horror movies with all the jump scares scare the pants off me lol

I think 4 is my definite favorite but I think 7 is a great example of how they can make like a cult favorite game

They used so many horror movie elements for that game

It is! But it’s got its moments and idk I just dove in one day and ended up sticking with it and now it’s almost over and I’m bummed cause I know I’ll miss it

I freaking hate jump scares too so I like the more psychological slow burn types overall

I understand that completely with so many shows. are you a fan of twin peaks by chance? I am and it's a huge reason why I'm here tbh

Yesss the tension type movies that make you think are my favorite!! I love the anticipation of a scare but I don’t want to just have like creatures screaming or people screaming all movie long or jump scares like with camera cuts those just make me anxious 🤍 😂

Oh I love that!! I’ve been there a few times joining games because I love the media! This one Fio actually reached out to see if I’d be interested in playing (I’ve been on a hiatus from games for a couple months) and I did give Twin Peaks a try back in like 2017 and I ended up getting into other shows but I bought paramount plus a few days ago to try and check out the show a bit more and so far I only watched the pilot but I love the mystery of it all! I also liked the pacing it reminds me of when tech wasn’t so prominent and word of mouth and slower paced connection was how news got around I kind of got nostalgic lol

oh very nice I am glad you're giving it a try. I'm a sucker for a good theme anyway but if I see a twin peaks org I'm GOING to apply haha. I wasn't even in the best headspace for a new org (I flopped hard the last time I played) but still I wanted to be here so I applied anyway.
also glad you can watch it and appareciate how dated it feels at times. everything was different before cell phones and instant comms so there's a slowness to the world that doesnt exist now. it only gets more surreal and mysterious as it goes so I hhope you return to it. the 3rd season they made in 2017 is amazing too and it's interesting seeing the world in this modern lens with cell phones and modern tech

have you been playing orgs for a while? my first was in 2023 after I found them off reddit. I dont play super often, it depends on my mood greatly, so not that many games compared to some others lol but hanging in there. I've mostly enjoyed this game so far except i'm not a fan of the black lodge twist very much

i get that like when an org goes poorly it's not the greatest time to like hop right into a new one, but also i feel like maybe its meant to be that this one has a good theme like that can bring you good luck!

oh i didnt know they made a third season! i'll definitely let you know how i feel as im watching it, i find myself really missing the early 00s when im watching a show that's not got supercomputers and cell phones in every shot it is really nice

ive also been playing since 2023! kind of wild we're just now crossing paths! i have a friend who was in orgs and suggested i play and i kind of snowballed from there, i loved meeting so many new people! i play much less often now than i used to but i still like to get to know people even if we only spend a few weeks in a game together

i feel the same way, overall im having a really good time but the black lodge twist confuses me a bit ngl like is it a typical exile or is there an advantage hunt involved and why do people end up sitting out past the end of a round lol

im not the best at advantage hunts anyway so if it is a way to get advantages im not gonna miss too much if i dont go lol

i'm glad we crossed paths finally. I love to meet new people too like there's no way I'd ever get to encounter you or others outside of them, this is such a niche thing, it's great to meet others with this shared interest even though we're all so different. my irl friends don't care for survivor so that's another reason I'm here

i'm having a great time too being on these winning tribes. I know it's good to go to tribal sometimes but I'm not complaining when there's 24 people. I've never played on a cast this big before, it's a bit intimidating. fuggles told me there's a duel there and the winner gets something on the way out like his talking to everyone reward. he also told me you get booted if you lose 5x at exile. which makes me think it's like a blend of redemption island if you can get booted from losing a challenge. but that would still piss me off if someone leaves without getting voted off. I don't want to get ciried out of the game

I don’t know anyone irl that’d want to play orgs w me either lol so it’s nice to meet diff people from all over

I'm going to just do my best to avoid exile even though I am so curious about it. one of the guys in our challenge call yesterday said their exile challenge was to listen to a twin peaks song and check in every time it ended. so beyond puzzles there could be weird endurance challenges there

hi good morning! day was simple, work and lots of reading there, I'm almost done with this book (called the unworthy)

then dinner w my friend and we watched some of the boys and I've decided I dont think I can finish it. it's so crass and violent and the last season has crap writing so i think I'm done

I work as a case manager for folks w disabilities at my local state office

So I help coordinate supports folks need by requesting funding and then if they already have funded supports I monitor them to make sure they’re being used appropriately since it’s state money

It’s a very rewarding job because I get to see results of my efforts in live time!

that does sound really rewarding, and you get to directly get help for the people who need it. I like that a lot!

my program is state funding as well and in support of residents in facilities but my particular work is so distant from the actual support that it's not as rewarding day to day, but I know it's all part of the bigger picture with it

tysm yes and it means a lot to me because all I really want to do career wise is something where I’m helping people and making their lives better

Sounds like we definitely have similar job roles! It does feel a tad removed to be in a state office rather than actually in the homes/residential facilities to take care of people but I get the happiness from going out for monthly and quarterly visits to see people face to face or even at annual meetings

good mornin! I wish I did, other than therapy and working, it's going to be a boring thursday I think. I really want to finish my book today because I've kept getting distracted with other things. I'm adultly excited about some errands I'm doing this weekend like finally selling my mom's old car? that'll be a huge weight lifted of things I want to do around the house. what about you?

I just met marissa here and she's been lovely to talk to. fuggles too like I felt good with him when I was on my own on the second swap tribe. and ricci seemed like a solid person on the og tribe, was more active than the other folks and I enjoy our convos. I liked tully too though it's harder to catch him generally

Yeah we group up in game and hop in discord vc so we can call out the boss moves and dodge the stuff that’ll try to kill us so we can boop the boss and take it down, with the goal of getting all 9 raid bosses killed this season, we’re 8/9

honestly the round was really dumb and messy

but ricci came to me wanting jack/sams or clint and i just was like dude it's sams birthday weekend and we just targeted jack/clint theyre gonna feel like garbage if we do this so i just let sams/clint know and said hey tell jack if you want that ricci is after u which i felt made up for lying to them about andrew last round like there i've done a good deed, so then jack yesterday morning goes to ricci and is like hey theo is after u, and im like wth because i just know ricci plays like the kind of person who gets super paranoid and of course as soon as jack told him this he comes to me like did theo throw my name have u heard this? and im like no because it never happened, i hadnt heard one word from theo about wanting ricci gone. so ricci goes around saying me and theo (and marissa?) cant be trusted so im like yknow what if sams/clint want ricci gone do what u want idc. so then sams/clint tell me jack is voting theo? and jack ghosts me, so i heard everyone is voting jack and im like good i hope they get him gone, but i feared he'd play the idol, i feared shenanigans with jack not answering me or confirming his vote so i voted ricci just in case to counterplay the idol because at this point jack and ricci both were being too messy

that's so unfortunate because ricci told me you and him had made up by the end of the round. it sounded like jack might have made up the thing about theo and the other things to drive a wedge between you?? at least that's how ricci was interpreting things, that it was all from jack starting shit

But yes Jack did drive the wedge and I did make up with Ricci

But I still felt like Jack and Ricci targeting each other made the vote make sense for one of them to go

Rather than Theo who as far as I knew had never thrown ricci’s name

Also it seemed like part of the wedge between me and Ricci was driven by Fuggles and Jack

Based on something Ricci said when he said he heard Theo threw his name

So if Fuggles had an agenda still of getting Theo out and was working with Jack on it I wasn’t interested in that this round and didn’t mind combatting it the best I could

I get that and didn’t want to create tension between us if I could help it during the tribal when there was already the paranoia from Ricci and the paranoia from Theo and I was getting so overstimulated already

I get that maybe there’s some trust I need to build back up with you and I’m fine with that I just don’t want our game relationship to be ruined

no it doesn't have to be. I understand your reasoning but it still stings that it got out my ally, who I thought was our mutual ally, but I ultimately get it. ricci was acting with paranoia and I understand why that would be concerning. I'm just disappointed overall you know?

I get that 100% I wasn’t wanting to lose Ricci here, I did want to keep playing with him and I wanted to see Jack go home more than anything cause I think that would’ve chopped off a limb from Fuggles who is still sitting in the exact same spot he was last round which irks me the most

But now Fuggles and Jack can’t be messy the same way twice I hope so that should make things a bit better

Also there’s a lot of confusion on who the Theo vote was and how the numbers worked out for the Ricci and Jack votes im definitely confused because the numbers don’t add up

there shouldn't be for long. I admitted to jack and theo both that I voted for theo. let's see how that turns out for me lmao

I had suspicions jack would find out about the play and would idol and I threw a vote on theo just in case only jack voted for someone else and it might tie. also I didnt want to ruin my relationship with jack MORE than it already was, and theo does not talk to me AT ALL and it's very concerning. like, we don't have a game relationship and I don't know why

I actually agree on Ryan, he’s quiet compared to everyone else I’ve no clue where his head is at or who he gets along with and he doesn’t seem to show his cards to anyone that I can tell

hey gem. how are you holding up? I'm sorry for what you went thru yesterday. to explain my part of it, I didn't tell you about the plan because I thought you and marissa were close. I thought that because of the alliance we had with ricci, and because you two were with each other the whole game. that's an assumption I make that's clearly not always correct. but that's where the roots of my thoughts came from

Honestly we haven’t gotten to talk much game like straight forwardly so I didn’t have the highest expectations of you to have known

What happened with me and Ricci and Marissa was that Ricci came to me saying Marissa “spoke highly” of me and I just thought that was very sweet of her to like help me make some bridges

But that was the extent of it like from there we just made the alliance with you and Ricci and me and Marissa and that was it

Ever since the corny vote I kept hearing “how close” people “knew” Marissa and I were and we just kept getting shoved together in alliances and I didn’t understand because we really weren’t that close

We just clicked well on OG Loved but not any better than I clicked with like Bree or Void

And I felt like the more I told people hey where are you hearing this the more people just kept saying it

And it really hurt to feel so unheard last night when I realized I’d been honest with people for like two weeks and absolutely no one had listened

But I’m feeling better today

I'm glad you're feeling better. that sounds like a really frustrating experience and I'm sorry for my part in exacerbating the situation. there's so much paranoia baked into the game that it fuels beliefs like this and sometimes there's no changing it, though I don't think you and I had talked about it directly. still I see how fucked up it is and thanks for explaining so I can understand your pov better

That’s why I said I can’t really blame you, especially having been directly in an alliance with me and Marissa and Ricci, perceptions are hard to shake and you had plenty of evidence to think we were close enough to warrant keeping me in the dark

My frustration was much more general overall, I took it way harder than I might have normally if my day yesterday hadn’t already been a bit downhill

That’s exactly it, I get it now that it wasn’t really possible to take the idea out of people’s heads once it was there, especially in this game where people say all sorts of things to make their game better

So all I can do now is figure out how to move forward

And I realize now that Marissa is gone it’s easier to say my piece than while shes here and I would seem to have more to lose

I've been talking with theo some. so before clint went on timeout he told me he was thinking of voting for you or theo but was torn. now theo is telling me clint was wanting to vote for me, and I wanted to see if you had heard that too?

Yeah I think this one is less intense than the last one, they gave me a challenge and told me how long I had to get it done before they’d put me back in the game

Yeah he mentioned to me that he was real sorry but the vote was looking like it was gonna be theo and I just was kind of poking at why, going on a bit about Fuggles like I have been so that’s probably no surprise

And then he was talking about how he doesn’t think anyone wants Fuggles yet, and he mentioned Ryan being a big reason why

And said star is kinda who he’d want to go for if he could if he wasn’t gonna do Theo because he doesn’t think star gives anything to the game

But with Star being immune that obviously isn’t an option

So we were just kinda going back and forth and then I was asking him who else he’d consider

And he said he really wished he could go for Fuggles here but it’s just not going to be an option and was still typing when he got timed out

He did trust Theo a decent bit

He just talked to us less when he thought we were closer to Marissa

I did get told by prod if I didn’t get a 4096 tile in 2048 I’d lose my vote so it’s possible I won’t be able to help, but, I did not ask them which tribal council I’d lose my vote at, if it was this one or the one after this so if it’s the one after this I will be able to help and yes I’ll vote Clint
