wow that's a lot of work but they sound like fun gigs. I love game stores and used to work in one too. we sold used games also movies music books etc. which job do you like most?

I help oversee a grant that funds projects for residents in skilled nursing facilities. I do the fiscal stuff like pay invoices, track budgets, make reports etc

Mhmm! They're all pretty damn good to have, and it's a general-purpose used hobby shop, so that's how it's been for me as well!

I'd like to have some sort of job with benefits, but I'm not really sure like... What would I be good at?

I work at a steakhouse, my life is filled with far too much starch from potatoes, and far too much juice from steak :P

I was a waitress before, and asking people "How would you like that cooked" is burned into my brain 😭

I never really found a specialized career or work "passion" so getting into govt for me was finding a general admin type job and there's a million of those. you'd be doing some flavor of processing paperwork and could get your foot in the door that way and find something more appealing afterwards. they encourage promotion and finding the best fit where I'm at so it's an encouraging experience getting promoted etc

that does not sound like a bad thing at ALL be I love them both. when I worked at a movie theater I never got sick of eating that popcorn lol

oh ugh I know those phrases for me it's like "would you like a bag with that?" and then repeating it more than once in the same conversation 🫣

The DS was so good, but people destroyed the cases so often 😭 A lot of people in America who worked at Gamestop threw out the cases, so they're all fucked up nowadays

they expected you to carry the games in a case with your system but nobody wanted to do that! not me anyway I like the cases on display

I've been obsessed since I got that n64 when I was 11!!!!! my mom got me OoT and cruisin world (racing game lol) and I never looked back. I've played most of the 3d ones anyway

yeah!! I love botw/totk a lot too but I've got all this history with the other games first. people who start with the switch games are lucky in one way because they're so big and expansive and fun to explore but then they might never go back to play the older games, and they're much more linear

exciting that they are remaking OoT. I pretty much only have gotten new nintendo systems to play zelda so I might have to finally get a switch 2 at some point but my friend has one and I dont like how heavy it is

I used to play a bunch of the GBA ones when I was a kid, the GBA was my JAM
