went on a long roadtrip to visit my university

im attending my first year in september

im soo excited!

I’m playing WoW with my buddies I’m just decompressing after work lol

I work with folks with disabilities as a case coordinator for my state office

Basically I make sure they’re getting funding for supports they need and I monitor supports monthly or quarterly depending it’s a lot of paperwork lmao

This is good!! Well actually idk how it works for you if you’re not in America? But if you are in America then you can kind of pit the schools against each other to see which one will give you the better scholarships to go

Which is always good for wanting to owe less money

But also you can compare programs

And see which school has the better reputation for the degree field you want

Or at the very least you can see which campus you picture yourself at more which one feels more like you can feel at home

i was thinking abt doing that

the school i just got accepted to is more prestigious but

i dont know if i want to go

i’ll have to research more

the one i just got accepted to id a party school ugh i dont wana deal with that

i did! i guess i went to kinda a party school, but i went cause they gave me the best scholarships, i had a full ride just had to pay room n board

which i ended up also covering by getting a resident assistant job my second year so three years had free housing

my school blew up for basketball in like 2014 but i applied because i heard they had good scholarships and the basketball thing kinda died down but i say party school because they had a really massive st pats celebration every year

and bar nights/parties most weekends but honestly when finals hit i didnt know a lot of people wanting to go out around exam time

thats comforting

im really on the fence now

kind of wish they didnt take me off that waitlist

but nevermind that

Morning morning!

My night was both good and meh, I had to kick someone out of my raid group because he just wouldn’t quit like trying to lead and he also made some folks uncomfortable

So I had to do a whole meeting and it stressed me out

But then my buddies offered to help me gear up a healer character I made and that made me really happy cause we had a good time

No no you’re fine you can talk about whatever’s on your mind or what’s going on in your life that’s always valid with me 🤍 but if you don’t want to I totally get it too no pressure either way

That’s fair especially if you get like choice paralysis at all or were just happier when it was more straightforward

is doubting if i’ll be comfortable there
