IT’S BEEN A DAMN MINUTE

I have three goals for this season

1. Get like, decently far, I know I have a track record with ORGs so we’ll worry about winning when we come to the point to worry about it

2. Not be a total fucking embarrassment in terms of gameplay or entertainment

3. Come out of it minimizing the number of out of game enemies I have

I hate to be the bitch locking down alliances on day one, but Coco and I seem to have a non-dissimilar ORG experience

And if someone’s willing to ride the redemption train with me I’m gonna get them on that train!

I have two deals now and I hope I’m on my way to a few more soon, maybe my computer will even get fixed and I’ll actually be able to help out!

Frankly I kind of think we’re screwed

Like it doesn’t look cohesive at all

If Jack’s theory is right, the voting chart is about to be real complicated

But more than that, I could potentially end up with an ally swapping away, worst-case scenario we lose one of our more active people and gain one of another tribe’s less actives

1. I feel like Jack made the best first impression on me, he seems to be among the more active people, he just seems like a low-drama person who I want to get closer to and work with as the season goes on

2. I'm not really a fake person, but in this case, yes, it does, I'm trying not to show the side of myself that's overanalyzing every interaction, trying to piece together exactly what I think about everyone and all that, especially because we're still in the kumbaya honeymoon phase. And as someone who tends to be a lot irl (and online), I think dialing that back a bit can only help me.

3. Clint did the actual flag, Soul did the writeup, Jack and I were some of the idea leaders, Sams sourced the font and pitched in, and Coco...tbh Coco wasn't very helpful at all...

I do want to align with Jack, yes. I also am not going to say that I have an alliance with the least active member of the tribe, because there's no way Clint would work with someone who's giving that little right now, but I do think he would work with Jack. If I can sort of hide behind the two of them as my normal shields down the line and have them both defending me when shit's really hit the fan and my brain is exploding and I'm crashing out, that'd insulate me for sure.

2. I’m going to try to get the advantage over everyone else by establishing options. I already have two alliances and two more connections I’m working on! If I can get myself in good with every single person on the tribe, when the time comes, I have my pick of who to work with ahead of time.

3. I genuinely have no idea what this twist could possibly do, so I’m fucking scared. It opens up a lot more in the fluidity department, and the more there is to juggle, the harder it is to build options and lie low. Or low-ish.

4. Uh, I’m terrified that I’ve left a bad first impression on everyone. I’ve definitely tamped myself down and I don’t know if it comes across that way, but like, I have genuinely had conversations with everyone that are authentic. Where I’m also concerned is that I got a little nitpicky in the challenge, and if that becomes a trend, then it’s an issue.

I HAD A WEIRD CHILDHOOD OKAY

At some point it will become clear that I am freakishly unlucky when it comes to things that don’t matter in the big picture

It would be just like me to be sent to the lodge by force right now

1. I mean, if everyone else wants to, I can try to help.
2. The swap is working out great for me! Having my single most loyal ally from my original tribe is the best thing I could've hoped for, even if I wish Sams or Jack was here, too. But Clint and I were able to bring in Marissa and Ricci, and having those connections with people who are a little more in it is my favorite thing so far. My least favorite thing is that I'm so strategy-brained right now.
3. I hope I don't get stuck there. I'll take the lack of massive advantages if it means I can also avoid being screwed over by some colossal disadvantage.
4. Brayden, probably? Like, Mike told me so much about him that should make for good tv and an OTTN5 moment, but like, he's not here much. And it's boring to do the "vote out the people who are on the least" strategy, but that's how ORGs go.
5. I'm learning bits and pieces about everyone as I go along and just asking questions, sharing things about myself, and being someone who they can talk to.
