I'm here to introduce the season's main twist!

What is this, you may ask?

Well well well...

How will this twist work?

It functions like your typical Exile Island.

However... you have to volunteer to go. In your private submissions channel, you have the first eight hours of the challenge time (until 12:15 AM EST) to state whether or not you want to volunteer to go to the lodge.

Once everyone has volunteered, your tribe will be told who has volunteered, you have the remaining sixteen hours of the challenge time to vote on which tribemate of yours will go!

And someone HAS TO volunteer!

The tribe who goes to tribal will not have anyone go, and the tribe who finishes first in the challenge will not have anyone go.

Instead, the tribes who finish in second and third will have a representative in The Black Lodge...

What happens in there is a story for another day... but don't sit here and assume that this exile couldn't possibly last for over 24 hours...

This challenge is noT over, but after several hours, no one from the @The Ones Who Loved Laura 2.0 tribe has volunteered to go to The Black Lodge. If they get 2nd place in this challenge, someone from there will have to go.

So... @The Ones Who Failed Laura 2.0 and @The Ones Who Served Laura 2.0 have two hours to vote on a member of Loved 2.0 to go to the lodge should they get 2nd place in this challenge. Obviously, these votes won't matter if they get 1st or last place in the challenge, but we'd appreciate to have as many in as possible by 7:00pm EST tonight, just in case the tribe with no volunteers gets second place.

This proposition will happen every single round that a tribe has no volunteers moving forward. And, since I gave you guys more than enough time, no one on Loved has the priviliege of volunteering themselves.

And since Fuggles just went, you cannot vote for him.

Since no one on Loved volunteered to go, Failed and Served decided for you!

The Black Lodge remains in the game... the evil remains in the world...

So... we need to introduce the opposite to restore balance... keep the universe as it was intended to be

Soul's soul remains trapped in The Black Lodge... but it's not like you'll be able to access it directly anymore.

The Black Lodge, in the show, is an allegory for Hell, while The White Lodge is an allegory for Heaven.

Similar to The Black Lodge twist, you guys will volunteer to enter The White Lodge each cycle. While you will not be able to communicate with Soul directly, the 1v1 comp format will still remain. What the outcome of these 1v1s are will remain a mystery...

The challenge will be up in about 5 or so hours, but you have until I wake up for the Knicks championship parade tomorrow to volunteer.

I will say-you are more likely to walk away from The White Lodge with a more positive experience than you would in The Black Lodge... but still, do not enter with imperfect courage.

(in case you weren't aware, the premerge was a tribute to the series' original run, the mergatory was a tribute to fire walk with me, the greatest movie of all time, and now we're focusing on the return)

If multiple people volunteer at all, you guys will spend the rest of the challenge duration voting on who attends.

Additionally, those who attend The White Lodge will miss part of Tribal Council, but will return to the game before the votes are actually read... barring any special circumstances.

The White Lodge will remain a twist for the remainder of the game... I am not 100% sure I can also say this about The Black Lodge...

And no... this is by no means a guarantee that Soul will die in there LMAO
