first ever uh everest interview and it's in the interviews channel uh i'm with ak today from season one uh twin peaks and i'm a little disappointed ak as many of you know was my favorite uh in fio viver and so when ak came here to apply for season one i was just ecstatic i was like wow like you know you're get the fuck on my cast and when your time was cut so short ak i mean and I was devastated, truly. Walk us through your head space a little bit there. I mean, how were you feeling after, you know, the votes were read on that revote and it was announced you were the fifth person eliminated from the game? think it's interesting that you say that because I do remember in your confessional, you were like somehow, some way like, oh, like, you know, it's going to be me. And then it was, it was really that one vote that did you in, you know, sent you into the revote. And then, you know, of course, I mean, a lot of other people in the tribe voted you out after that, but thank you for sharing. Um, I certainly was upset. The world was upset. But there's a lot of healing that has to be done across Everest to mourn your death. I guess my next question is, what do you think you could have done better? What was something about your game that, you know, the season is over, you had some time to reflect. What would you have done different if you had the opportunity to go back in time and sort of undo whatever may have led to your downfall? I'd love to hear your insight on that. the season, I'm curious who you did like and who you didn't like. Who you found, like, you were able to work with them for the, probably about, I want to say, like, the week and a half or so that you were playing the game. Who did you feel like would have been, you know, a long-term threat for you and your game later down the line? How did you come to these conclusions? Like, what made you assume the reads and positions on people that you had throughout the game? you my understanding, there was a sort of like Andrew Clint Sam's Jack faction, I believe, that was forming. And I think that is part of the reason why you went home. Again, this is all to my understanding of a tribal council that I did not host, a tribal council I did not spectate. So I think your read is pretty accurate, honestly. I think you had a pretty good idea on what happened, how you went home. And you having Spectator now really doesn't give you the answer. Because what I'm understanding now is a lot of the game happened in those one-on-one chats. It was a very one-on-one dominated season. There were not a lot of plans of action coming into fruition in an alliance. Or someone saying in their confessional, I'm going to do this and here's how I'm going to do it. and then kind of spreading to other confessionals. It was all very behind the scenes stuff. How did you do with your individual connections in the game? Like, did you feel like you were able to be on top of things? Did you feel like you were putting plans into motion or were you more of like a backseat kind of player waiting for things to happen?
agree a thousand percent. I think orgs get very unfun when you fixate so much on like, oh, I must play so robotically. Like I'm going to work with this person, that person, the other person to maintain like my good positioning. Like I'm in the same boat as you. I like to play with who I like to play with because that's how I have a personal joy out of orgs. And it leads to me being able to walk away with a good experience. And the reunion of this season, I was very big on like, hey, please don't let the result dictate what this experience meant to you. Don't let it ruin it for you. Because I, for many years, would get so upset over not winning an org or just barely losing or some bullshit not going my way. And it's so not worth it. So it's really refreshing to see players like you, AK, who have this, uh, a better mentality for the game, a better, a better way of looking at things. And I'm, I'm thankful we have people like you in the community. final question for you is, is this the end of AK? I know after FioViver, we did not see you play here for a very, very, very long time. You caught me honestly by surprise when you applied for season one. are you tapped back out or are you feeling like at some point in the near future you want to come back play again and play the game that you were meant to play in everest survivor how are we feeling about ak 2.0
