- Jiv knows he's fucked after totem grab. Luckily for him, Brent had given him an idol beforehand

~ Sylvia apparently gave him a half-idol too? She only revealed this while the Riley tribal was ongoing cuz a parchment said outright "i want sylvia's half-idol out"

~ during the live comp involving finding keys in google docs, Jiv starts saying "good thing i have an idol to make this decision pretty easy" in the middle of the challenge (only 2️⃣ ppl played in it btw)

~ the idol drama was interfering with the game too much so Jiv gets told ahead of time that he's getting pulled (abt a 2️⃣ hour notice)

~ He tries to send brent's idol to SATURN, but apparently didnt cuz he sleep past the date or smth, it was weird

~ Brent's pissed to hell & back bc he thinks its unfair Jiv went out with his idol, that if anyone had it, they should return it to him (im p sure the idol got sent back into the wild). Thus begins his "complain at prod" saga that's culminated in the 20% challenge advantage

but Brent gave the idol to Jiv...

the vibe of camp in general took an absolute nosedive after totem grab, kebab quitting -> jiv getting pulled -> sudden joint tribal bc stephen obliterated HFWYG has made for terrible scenes

once you give someone something, you lose ownership of it

they apparently passed the idol back & forth to each other but YEAH

it wasnt in his hands when jiv left so its not his

like, that's the risk you take when you do that

brent's entire gameplay is abt making big ass risks

but it must work out for him often enough to be taken back when something goes wrong
