, literally, so Brent was like, oh my god, Jiv went out with my idol, which I'm pretty sure is actually true. But then literally like 30 minutes later was telling me like, oh, I have an idol and I'm going to play it, so you shouldn't vote for me. Well, bitch, you just told me that you lost your idol. So what is it?, so McDonald's was interesting, to say the least. I worked there like less than a year, and it was in 2020. So literally like during COVID. So it was really fun. That was when they discontinued all day breakfast that they said was going to come back when COVID was over and then they never brought it back. lol but anyways i bring that up to say a lot of people would yell at me over the headsets about not having all day breakfast anymore um and i was like dude i just work here like hello what do you think i'm gonna do to change all that um the first mcdonald's location i worked at was so old and crusty and dusty and the manager was a complete asshole but i got transferred to a brand new one that opened up like the second half of the year that I was working there. And that was a lot better. The people were a lot nicer and it was a new building. So it was clean and shit. Then Duncan. I also worked at Duncan. I think it was over a year, maybe like closer to two years for Duncan actually. And that was a lot more chill in my experience. We had managers that kind of just let us do whatever we wanted like i could drink as much coffee as i wanted like i would take home donuts all the time and give them to people like they did not give a fuck what we did uh so it was pretty great at least for a shitty minimum wage job obviously we had a lot of shit customers but at least like they're i don't know like we laughed about it more than like like managers getting mad when people were mad type of thing., no, I remember one of my, like, favorite memories working at the restaurant was just going in the back and talking shit about whatever shitty customer left a crappy tip. You kind of, like, trauma bond, especially when you're, like, a server. You kind of just trauma bond with the other servers whenever it gets super fucking busy. when you get these people that are just like completely fucking dense as to what's going on around them and like hey it's a full restaurant we're busy food's gonna take a little bit longer jackass but it was still fun at the end of the night because you got to see basically your friends every day
