In a season themed around PVZ2, more specifically the element of Time Travel, I thought it would be fitting to essentially turn back the clock every other round!

The Old School and New School tribes are split perfectly down the middle in Garden/Undead split!
THE GIMMICK
When one round will be themed around Garden vs. Undead, the round following it will be themed around Old School vs. New School!
Example A:Episode 1: Garden vs. Undead
Episode 2: Old School vs. New School
Episode 3: Garden vs. Undead
Episode 4: Old School vs. New School
Episode 5: Garden vs. Undead
Episode 6: Old School vs. New School

I also included elements of community status, the Old School tribe was definitely more leaned-into here with the theme, really getting together a group of people who have been involved in my side of the ORG community the longest, and pitting them against the "newcomers"!

Here's your chances to earn advantages in the game!
The way this works is that throughout random intervals, myself or other Co-Hosts may opt to fill an unvacant tile with a Task.
The first person to arrive at that space will have 24 hours to complete their task. It could be anything!
Complete the task, and you will earn an advantage.
The other unique part of the twist is that the Safari is interractive!

When you arrive to a new space, you will gain access to a chat with everyone else who is currently in it.
Whenever a player leaves or enters, the chat is cleared.
This means that you may have a chance to privately communicate with players that you share no tribes with!

I think some of you know what this is just by the mere mention of a Victory Road twist.
THE DISTORTION WORLD IS BACK!

Upon being voted out, players will be given the chance to re-enter the game. They will be sent to the Distortion World where they must stay alive via survival challenges.
Players in the Distortion World will have both a public chat with everyone and private 1-1s with their fellow Distortion inhabitants.
Forming relationships in the Distortion World is important because of the big gimmick.
At the Final 12 of this game, any and all players who have survived the Distortion World all the way through, will experience a Distortion Tribal.
It's essentially the Outcasts twist from there! You must vote someone back into the game.
The Distortion player with the most votes will come back to the game and have another chance to win this game!
In Victory Road, there were three ways to come back from Distortion via different methods.
This time, the ONLY way you come back is via F12's Distortion Tribal.
Additionally, throughout the Safari there may be a few spaces called Distortion Spaces!

Safety from what, you may ask?
So far this season, we have brought back twists from previous Fiovivor seasons.
This time though, we are branching out a tad bit from the Fiovivor-realm of things and into the broader realm of Fio gameshows.
You may remember over the summer we had a great time playing Sequester over in the other server!

THE SAFETY CHAIN IS BACK!

The player who is granted safety will begin what is known as a "Safety Chain" and pass along safety to another player.
The process will rinse and repeat until there is ONE player left standing.
That player will be automatically eliminated and be sent to the Distortion World.

Unlike last Summer, this iteration of Safety Chain will NOT feature the ability to "Strip someone's safety".
Meaning that once you have been passed safety, you cannot have that safety taken away from you.
"How will the Safety Chain play out?"
On top of a challenge submission, you MUST submit a Trust Ranking list in your submissions.
When safety is passed to you, you will have an hour to pass safety along to another player before your time is up.
When your time runs out, the player who is at the highest on your Trust Ranking list will be given safety.
If you have an advantage that can grant you safety of some sort, if it is played at the F14 Tribal, it does NOT carry over into granting you safety for the Safety Chain elimination.

You can, however, play either a full Hidden Immunity Idol or a Safety Without Power to grant you exemption from the Safety Chain seperate from the upcoming Tribal.
This would have to either be Pre-Played or played instantly after the conclusion of Tribal Council before the Chain begins.
This round, multiple people will win the @Individual Immunity necklace.

For everyone except for the player that takes home 1ST PLACE in the challenge, your immunity does not carry over to the Chain.
Meaning that this upcoming challenge has a lot of stakes to it, and let me be the first to tell you, it's a big challenge!
Again, only the person who takes home gold ๐ฅ in this upcoming Individual Immunity challenge will have that immunity carry over into the Safety Chain.

As such, we transition to new twists!
Tonight, I will give you two twists.
One twist will last from the F13 through the F7!
The other twist is kind of a two-in-one deal. One part of the secondary twist will last from F13 through F11, and another part will strictly be related to how the F10 round is played out.
At the Final 9, the secondary twist concludes but there will be something else that I will call you back here for! But more on that later!
Let's start with the Merge's secondary twist.
This is a twist that goes back to SEASON THREE!
THE FLUFF-PUFF CABIN IS BACK!
This is a twist that impacts what is up for grabs at Immunity Challenges!
Instead of playing for a traditional @Individual Immunity necklace, you will play for Exemption!
You will skip out on Tribal and bring ONE PERSON with you to The Cabin!
That means each round, two players will be gone from Tribal! One of these players will be the challenge winner and the other one is going to be who the winner decides to bring with them.
This is going to work a little bit differently than how it worked in Season 3!
Instead of demanding someone to be brought right at the challenge results, the winner of the competition will attend the first three hours of Tribal Council.
They will get to be involved with the first few hours of the round's vote-off and then dip. From there, they will choose one person to come with them to the Cabin!
NOOOOWWWWWW we can talk about our primary twist for the season's merge.
There is only one Season 5 rep left, and I think they're all going to be quite thrilled they don't have to experience this hell again.

THE VOTING WEAPONS ARE BACK!
As a reward for making it to the Jury, you will all be rewarded with three voting weapons!
When casting a vote at Tribal Council, if you wish, you may opt to pair your vote up with one of these three voting weapons!
Similar to the secondary twist, this twist has been reworked from S5.
The META for early-merge in S5 was determined by which group could use what weapons at what time, it led to (for the most part) pretty lame gameplay.

As such, the rework here is that once you use a weapon, it is considered GONE from your inventory.
"What's the cooldown for then?"
Two of our three voting weapons making a comeback here are paired with cooldowns. This is to prevent you guys from spamming a bunch of different weapons back-to-back-to-back!
So for instance, if at the F12 I opt to use the Ribeye, I would not be able to play any other weapons at the F11 & F10 Tribals due to the two-round cooldown.
The last time any of these weapons can be used is at the Final 7 of this game.
These weapons cannot be paired with advantages that you may have found in the Safari.
You, of course, may opt to play a weapon alongside playing a Hidden Immunity Idol! But you CANNOT play a weapon alongside an advantage.

If it wasn't clear already, yes BOTH of these players are not eligible to be voted out, but of course they will not cast a vote.
@Alive Player It seems it is time to talk about this round!
There is a second element that we have decided to bring back from Fluff-Puff Peaks and figured it would be fun to make it appear here!
We've seen you all speculate on what this round could potentially be, specifically seeing some of you call it "some fuck ass round is about to happen"
While it may seem to be a normal round, this one will go rather faster than normal. In a few moments, we will open up the Final 10 Tribal BEFORE handing out @Individual Immunity
Meaning, you will not know who is safe!
We will then give you all a challenge to do within the 24 hour time period, which will be the same time you have to decide who to VOTE, as votes will also be due at the SAME TIME
How @Individual Immunity will work this round is it will act like a standard Immunity Idol, negating any votes that are casted to the winner.
You are still able to utilize all additional advantages/idols you may have during this time as well, as this is technically still a normal tribal!
We will open up the Tribal now and give you all your challenge shortly!

You may notice on days 33 and 34, there is a set of back-to-back Tribals.
That is because that round, there will be no formal Immunity Challenge winner.
...but someone will still be winning @Individual Immunity. They will win it by default.
I cannot disclose any more information at this time.
What I can disclose, however, is the set of back-to-back Tribals on days 36 and 37.
Similarly to Day 34 (F6), there will once again be a default winner of @Individual Immunity.
And this is through a twist from Season 6 making a comeback!
THE IMMUNITY GAUGE IS BACK!
F5 will be your last standard Immunity challenge. This is treated as your traditional Gauntlet challenge that I always do at F4 of every season.
Immediately after the F5 Tribal, I will crown a winner of F4 Immunity and you will have a 24 hour Tribal.
The winner of this challenge will be through who fills up their Immunity Gauge the MOST!
"What is an Immunity Gauge?"
An Immunity Gauge is a secondary Submissions Channel that you will receive at the start of this round's Tribal Council.
You've gotta spam it!... well kind of.
The Gauges operate on a six-hour slowmode.
The goal is simple! Check in whenever you can, send ANY message and wait for the cooldown to expire to send another one!
The player with the MOST messages in their Immunity Gauge at F4, by default, wins immunity.
